iphone 5s is in disabled mode

I was scammed the iphone i bought from ebay it was in disabled mode when i connect it to itunes it , brings up the previous owners name and i cant bypass this to get into the phone. it says it has been disabled because it is either lost or stolen, As the date on the phone is febuary it is safe to say the previous owner has all ready had a replacement phone.is anbody working on a solution for this or is there a way of resetting the phone without itunes i cant even get it into dfu mode as it just boots into the disabled screen. if anyone can help i would be most greatful.
