Need to Update 3GS from 5.1 to 6.1.x Best method

Hello i'm trying to update my jailbreked iphone 5.1 with unlock (ultrasn0w) to a 6.1.x version

The complication:

New Bootrom (3rd to 5th S/N) xx946xxxxx
Need to Unlock (ultrasn0w) and my Base Band is 05.13.04 also i dont have the original sim card.

I cant find any good tutorial how to do it correctly cause if my base bands updates i'll get a iPod Touch :(

Can anyone help me please?

    1. connect to iTunes and update to 6.1.6 latest iOS for your device
    2. Jailbreak it with tethered Jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 to 6.1.6
    3. Open Cydia when your device is Jailbroken and search for
    "p0sixspwn" tweak to transform JB from tethered to untethered
    4. Done your iPhone 3GS is updated to iOS 6.1.6 and Untethered Jailbroken.
