Screen freezes

Ever since IOS 7 update, every time I try to make any changes like deleting apps or icons, hook up to computer, or anything else where I have a choice, a dialogue box pops up and asks if I want to cancel or continue this task, and then the screen freezes and I have to reboot to be able to use the iPAD, and I am unable to ever complete the task without the same thing happening. I have erased the iPad and restored with iCloud and the same thing happens. I tried choosing what iCloud backs up and get the same dialogue box, so can't do that either! Can anyone tell me what else I can do?!!!
