I'm sad not to see flash but I'm very glad to see all the things that they are adding!
With the addition of MMS and somewhat universal landscape, I most likely wont be re-jailbreaking after this update. But, again, we'll have to see ;)

I'm stoked about MMS and bluetooth and even more so the use of accessories that you can pair with apps like the blood glucose thing mentioned. I'm so looking forward to using tactile responsive buttons for playing apps and of course the EMULATORS FOR JAILBROKEN IPHONES!

That's what I had thought as well but read somewhere SwirlyMMS uses carrier
to send MMS messages and not by uploading images to some third party server
like say Flutter. That's why I mentioned, I need to find out more on how
Swirly works to confirm. -
That sounds weird. I was able to get swirly mms working. Is that any different?

I hope so :) I really don't want to get the 3g. I've been waiting to see if the rumors of a new iPhone coming is true.

Yeah Pete mentioned that as well.
It also looks like SwirlyMMS uses the carrier as they are advising users to add MMS to their service plan; doesn't seem to use the data network as I had suspected earlier.
That's really strange why Apple said so.

I can understand the bluetooth part. I guess were going I have to wait and see If some hacker can implament the same mms that the 3g phone will have to first gen users.
