Something is wrong with my Iphone 5

As soon as I unlock the screen it slowly gets lines through it where apps and text are. As soon as it darkens enough i cannot use the touch screen and i have to hit the top button and unlock it again. I don't know what to do because i have a year left for this phone. SOmeone said water damage but that coulnt be the case since i havent got it wet. someone help! i can barely use my phone.

Have you tried hard resetting your iPhone? You can check this video if you need help:

If u have talked on the phone u might get 'water damage'. I lost my quarantee as made the mistake and used phone for talking.
Actually as heard thad, didnt know if laf or cry heh. Iphones not supposed be used for talking if look on contract.
