Wow at first look it looked funny but after second thoughts it's looks disturbing! Can Apple really get copyrights for something that's already being used and developped by others?
I mean can Apple really go and put a copyright Jailbreaking and softwares that are available on jailbreak iphones?
Wouldn't that be like stealing the work of others?

Not really, Apple has used the image to illustrate a point in their patent for biometric security, they aren't copyrighting any of the stuff developed by others.

Could they be illustrating how a jailbroken iPhone would not function with these new security measures? I wish Apple would allow customizable themes. That would be one more reason for me not to jailbreak my phone. So far PdaNet is a big deal for me. I also really like Poof since I have no interest in stocks and already have my contacts under the phone app. Oh and I gotta have my game emulators.
By the way, Apple is already being sued for a couple thing including the camara. If they win, who knows what else they can get away with.
