Disabled iPad Help

Hello, I'm hoping I can get some help here, as I'm trying to retreive pictures from a disabled iPad. My Uncle recently lost his wife, and was trying to view the pictures on their iPad. Unfortunately he locked himself out and doesn't have any backups on his itunes account. I tried connecting it to his computer but still could not restore the iPad without the threat of losing his photos.
My question is this: Is it possible to get around the iPad being disabled via rooting or jailbreaking? He doesn't really care about anything except for having the pictures of him and his wife.

No, I guess as you have to understand cloud services are for us so that we can back up our files there. if files don't have a pictures, I fear you have to reset it and all data will be lost.
