I tried to upgrade to the IOS 8 on my iphone 5c... now it's stuck on the connect to itunes picture and itunes isnt working and keeps giving me "error" messages... help!!!

It looks like your device is in recovery mode. What error are you getting as that could help in debugging the issue.
