Can I downgrade and Jailbreak iOS 8.1

Hi guys
I thought when updating OTA, I could jailbreak my iPad mini 2 , but I discovered that I have to restore and update through iTunes. The question is: can I downgrage from 8.1.1 to 8.1 , then jailbreak?

Apple is still signing iOS 8.1, so you can downgrade to iOS 8.1 and jailbreak your device using Pangu.
