firmware isnt being recognized when I do extras part.

I run the redsnow and its fine but when I click on extras it wont recognize it. I have an ipod 4 generation. I updated it and made sure I have all the right downloads so frustrated right now! my firmware download is taking like 2 hours!! any help offered would seriously be appreciated. Thanks
