Well, just found out that iPhone Config Utility 3.6.2 stops working after upgrade iTunes 12.1 on Windows. There is (actually) no new Config Utility available.
Does somebody know something about that?
As a workaround: uninstall AppleMobileSupport and install version from extracted iTunes 12.0.1.exe. Now you can use iPhoneConfigUtility again. Unfortunately, you need to install AppleMobileSupport from iTunes 12.1.exe again to use iTunes.
Whats going on there?

latest version of iTunes 12.1 is 64-bit on Windows. iTunes used to be a 32-bit application and it enables users to run it even under 64-bit versions of Windows. The latest version of iTunes 12.1 is a full 64-bit application which handles large amounts of random access memory more effectively than the previous 32-bit version. The big differences between the terms 32-bit and 64-bit lie in the configuration requirements, computation speed and software compatibility. You can find more explanation in the web. If you fail to connect your iPhone with PC,you can downgrade iTunes 12.1 to an earlier version. That would make things easier. If you still want to use the latest iTunes, you can also use third party app to connect your iPhone with computer

Well, what we need is a 64 bit iphone configuration utility that works with iTunes 12.1.
Does somebody know when it will be available? -
