Possible to upgrade idevices from iOS 6 to anything but 8.1.3

Hi guys. New here. Thnx for having me. Here's me dilemma. I have a few devices. Ipad iPhones. I haven't done a software ,update in a long time. Years I think. Just never needed too. Now I'm encountering issues with new apps and my ios being out of date and incompatible Namely moviebox. Somovie box ver 3 isn't supported in my ancient iOS but appears if I upgrade to 8.1.3 I may lose the ability to use it too now. I shoulda upgraded before obviously but didn't. Is there a solution for me? Is it possible to upgrade to the non newest iOS? Tnx everyone

    K I may have read wrong. Appears u possibly can get moviebox at 8.1.3. But methods don't seem to be wrking for me. Besides that id love to upgrade and jbreak is that possible

    No, it is not possible to upgrade to any other firmware file other than the latest (which is iOS 8.1.3) as Apple has stopped signing the firmware file. There is also no workaround available.
