This is a little off subject but it would be great if there was a mobile version of this site for the iPhone. I check this site everyday and I usally do it on my phone.

Hey its great to know that you visit our site everyday.
An iPhone version of the site is on our to-do list, we should hopefully get to it soon.
Thanks again for your feedback.
PS: We'll remove this comment shortly as it is a little off topic as you had mentioned.

What I'm worried about is that the removal of the MMS feature in the beta might indicate that AT&T is having second thoughts about allowing it's iPhone customers to send/receive MMS... I can only hope that that isn't the case and MMS will still be there when its officially released!
-
I have been thinking the exact same thing for ages, I check this site atleast once aday and it would be so good if there was a mobile version! Keep up the good work guys :)
-
Its either that or AT&T might be looking at charging more for MMS which would be worse.
-
I really hope they don't plan to do that... I consider myself already paying through the nose for the data plan and unlimited messaging (although chances are it would cost me much more if I didn't have those) but MMS uses the data plan of which all iPhone users have unlimited! So, if AT&T plans to charge, they better ready themselves for a revolt. Or at least a complaint from me hahaha
-
Hey Sammy thanks, we will definitely look at increasing the priority of the iPhone version of the website.
-
my tethering still works...
-
same here i check this site multiples times a day on my ipod touch, a mobile version would be appreciated.

With beta 5?
-
Forgive me... That was a dumb question. I haven't installed it yet to know whether or not mine will have it or not but I just want to make sure.
-
yea i did update instead of restore just hold option on update instead.. also then u wont have to restore from backup after update..
-
Oh, I see. I prefer to do a fresh install (at least with the beta versions)
-
When installing the beta versions - it doesn't stuff up the phone from being used does it. I keep getting No Service. Any ideas ?
-
Apple has accepted the NIN update thanks to the new parental controls.
-
No. The phone should continue to function like it has previously. Try making sure your SIM card is seated properly/well.
-
Well, if i don't have At&t (I am a centennial user...) Will i be able to still use the MMS? Swirlymms is horrible and i NEVER get the "green M" that i need to send. it rarely works when it wants to. I have to send pics most the time using the email work around, but i can't ever get any in return... :(
-
I really don't see why AT&T wouldn't allow MMS. Everyone else on AT&T with a MMS capable phone is able to send and receive them. Before my iPhone I had a RAZR and I had MMS. It is stated in the AT&T Unlimited Texting plan that text, photo, and video messages are covered.
-
@superthrust: Could it be something with your phone or provider? I've been using SwirlyMMS for a long time, and it's flawless. Now I'm using version 2, and I would say that the new native MMS should be really good for me to stop using Swirlymms.

just go on ur iphone and bookmark it to ur home svreen thats what ive done and had no problems
-
I find a good way to view this site on the iPhone is to add the rss feed to the free rss app.

Alright. Here's the beta for any 3G users.

Also, I did some research. Only if you updated to the newest beta of iTunes can you not alter the carrier file (.ipcc) so those of you that haven't upgraded to the newest 8.2 beta are still good.

-
That's the guide to enabling tethering.
-
same here, have you guys on my book mark. I'm always checking this site out. Keep u the great work.
-
I updated to beta 5 last night, and even though i needed to put an .ipcc file on my phone to allow MMS, it still didnt work on beta 4 (because im with Telstra AUS).. but i still have the MMS button in Messages and the tethering option. Although it doesnt actually work. :[ just though id let you know :D
-
Hey Sam, one thing you might want to try (and I haven't tried this so I'm not sure) but change the extension on the .ipcc to .zip and decompress it then configure the .ipcc (which now should be some form of document) to work with your carrier, Telstra.
-
Tethering works perfectly... on AT&T, United states no file editing and I am on Beta 5
-
IF upgrade to beta 5 can i still downgrade to 2.2.1 also i never had any of the betas before
