iPad 1st. Gen. Jailbreak problem with rocky racoon

Sent from my iPad. Hello I have a iPad 1st gen. Running 5.1.1 I used red snow and did the jailbreak then installed rocky racoon.tried to reboot but still fails without being tethered. I even tried installing respring but still no go. Any help would be great. Thank you Doug
