iPad Air 2 cannot download purchased movies

I tried to downloaded purchased movies from the iTunes store. The iPad starts the download, completes and says 'Processing' then says it cannot download the movie and asks to 'Retry' or 'Done'. I have tried 4 different movies and cannot get it to work. There is PLENTY of storage space available.
Any help would be appreciated.

You can try logging out and relogging to your iTunes & App Store and iCloud again to see if it helps.

Been tried several times and even a reboot afterward but has not changed.

I downgraded to iOS 8.2 because of the bluetooth gps issue/bug introduced in 8.3. I went back to 8.3 and it fixed the problem. Hoping for a JB soon. maybe in 8.4. It seems that iOS bugs are getting more frequent since Steve Jobs passed. Must be coincidental.
