I had one iPhone lost. I sent a message to it so the person who finds it could contact me. I know that if someone restore it wil ask for my apple ID to activate it, but if someone restore it can I still track where it is when it is connected to an wi-fi network?

U should be able to track it via icloud if connected to wifi or mobile
