got phone from friend and used his account as i was new he set it all up used for over 3 years got photos and music but fallen out with friend[ex friend] and now hes changed the password will i lose all photos and music if i try to go on apple and get new account

    Yes if you haven't backer up ,you will lose your photos...

    You could always use an app such as Google Photos or Dropbox's Carousell to upload the photos from your device.

    You should also be able to setup a new iCloud account and use it sync the data on your device.

    As i knew you will not lose the photos and music existed on your iPhone when you log in with a new Apple ID on your iPhone. You can backup your phone with iTunes regularly to keep your data safe: Connect your iPhone to computer > Launch iTunes > Click The Device iCon > Summary > Back Up Now.
