5c not working!

Hi all my sons 5c stopped taking a charge & when battery ran flat I haven't been able to get it working again. Had battery replaced & even got charging port replaced also as I heard it could be that which was not working, but still nothing any ideas what might be wrong with it, or should I just get a new phone? Cheers.
