Help PLs Iphone 5 stuck

I have an iphone 5 which was running 7.1.1 tried upgrading to 8 on iTunes well after iTunes did its thing I gte the "slide to upgrade screen" then it asks for passcode..i do not have this phones passcode..what casn I do to get around it or install a fesh firmware??????????????
