Hi forum, I am not familiar with iPhones at all. I decided to buy my twin daughters iPhone 4's from Ebay. I wasn't familiar with the description "activation locked". So, I purchased two iPhone 4's for my daughters and I can't use the phones at all. I have done some internet research about activation lock, unlocking, but, everything I have tried has failed. Does anyone know how to unlock an Apple Activation Locked iPhone 4? I am disabled and I don't have much money to pay for an unlocking service. Will someone please advise me? Thank you forum members!

Have you tried contacting eBay seller for this issue, if he knew the password he may provide you. Otherwise, I don't believe any known way around the activation lock and at this point I think you're out of luck.

Activation Lock is activated with the function of "Find my iPhone", and the only way to disable it is to login the Apple ID the previous owner and then change the setting. It's a pity that you don't have other way to deal with this problem.
