Good afternoon,
I have a 5s Iphone (8.3 ios) that I was jail breaking using Taig. I successfully jailbroke it, but it froze up when I was launching Cyndia. It first turned on, but I could not see any apps. I tried to restore a backup, however itunes quit on me. When I try again I receive the message "Itunes could not restore the iPhone because it is locked with a passcode." It is currently frozen on the apple logo. It won't go in recovery mode, but can be picked up by itunes. Should I try restoring the iPhone, and would I be able to restore the backup from there? Please help!

You can try putting your iPhone in DFU mode:

However, it will wipe the data from your device. But you can restore from the backup if you have taken a backup of your device using iTunes or iCloud.
