Jailbreak iPhone 7.1.2 in 2016

I'm trying to use Pangu to jailbreak this iPhone 4 but the first thing to do is set the phone's date to June 2, 2014 but it is now 2016 so that is impossible. Therefore, the app will not download into the phone. What to do?

That is possible. Look in settings

Go to settings/date and time. Set it to manual, then just keep scrolling the date back to 2012. after the jailbreak, just connect to itunes to quickly set the date back to 2016. I used Pangu v1.0 and it worked like a charm. Iphone 4 16gb 7.1.2 btw.
