Restore deleted whatsapp chats on ios 9.3.1

I accidentally deleted some important whatsapp chats.
Is there a way to restore them on ios 9.3.1?

in case you have the backup folder at (/users//appdata/roaming/apple computer/mobilesync/backup).

extract it with "iphone backup exractor or phonerescue.
there you will find in the "application" folder the whatsapp folder.
