iPod activation bypass a1421

iPod a1421 just restored via iTunes with upgrade to latest 9.3.5 I think and now has activation lock to an unfamiliar email address ,?
What can I do ? Have I just ruined and bricked my iPod or

    Not sure why people keeps asking how to bypass an iCloud lock. It's not possible. Always make sure it's NOT iCloud lock before purchasing a used iDevice.

    And as a rule of thumb, if something is too good to be true, it probable is.
