PPhelper not working?

My pphelper is downloading and opening on my iPhone but when I click on the circle the Chinese words that are meant to come up on the screen before you lock it only flash onto the screen for a second then it just goes back to the circle as if it didn't work. I tired locking my phone and waiting but nothing happens. Why won't it work?
*My iPhone is currently running iOS 9.3
