Only published and allowed API calls were used in iStat (and all our apps). We definitely play things by the rules.

People complain a lot about Microsoft's instability and praise Apple time and time again, but I gotta say my experience has had disappointing aspects. Seems like Apple still wants to have control on as much as possible, under the premise, "we know what's best for our users."
the fact they forced removal of a useful feature is frustrating, the fact they don't give a reason for it is downright angering.
I would rather not have to do something as illegal-sounding as "jailbreaking" but in order to regain control over what I consider to be my property, what choice do I have??
