All you have to do is put your song in Garageband and than go into the Share menu and click "Share ringtone with iTunes". It exports it to iTunes and shows up for you to Sync.

with all due respect...what is 30 secs good for?

with my old motorola razr i had mp3s as ringtones, or even if modified, i could have 1 minute long ringtones....

i really hope that apple wants to extend the length of a ringtone. 30 secs is just too short for me ;)

will never ever, never, never never ever, pay for something which you can do it in less than 2-3 mins ...

for newbies there is video to create ringtone on youtube,, trust me.. it takes just 2-3 mins.. 1.98$ for ringtone?3$#@#@#$$#@#
