Apple & AT&T could have done the same here. It would have destroyed that sales of AT&T's competitors. Still we are paying to much for this service.

forgot to add.. the math is wrong... the average iPhone service cost approximately $105 USD each month for basic... with taxes (mine: $106.44 USD w/ taxes)
Break down:
Basic service w/ internet $89.99 that is $2159.76 in a two year time frame before taxes. With Taxes $2554.56
Can We say "RIP OFF"?
No one is getting the phone to not have internet service... but I could be wrong.

Way less $$$ than AT&T..better customer service..Just as good if not better in coverage..and the Palm-Pre..(which is basically an iPhone in new skin)..remember folks, At&T used to be Cingular which used to be Bell South..both of which stunk in all of the above areas...AT&T is just and old company with a new wardrobe..

it really depends where you are in my area NY/NJ AT&T is way better then Sprint, I had a couple of friends that had Sprint and they can signal at all unless there outside in the cold. But any ways if china is now getting the iPhone would that mean many companies will try to buy it as well, maybe its a test to see if Verizon would be a good company to sell there product to.

Sorry but Sprint customer service BLOWS! I've seriously had nothing but problems with them and usually everyone I talk to voice their opinion of Sprints crappy service.

For my iPhone 4 I paid $194 (1100DKR) with a 6 month contract at $106 (600DKR) a month. This was for free sms, mms, 5 hour call and free call to people with same carrier plus 10GB a month. That's makes a total of $829. I live in Denmark. Here the max length for a mobile contract is 6 months. I love that because every year I have bought a new iPhone. Merry Christmas
