    Another reason to keep my 2nd 3G on 3.0.1
    Matter of time before before Apple bounces Google Maps twice and hoofs them out of the window.

    Hope they do opt for placebase, google maps is usually way out anyway. I use XGPS for local city centre use as GMaps puts me about 1/4 mile from where i want to be.
    Google maps is currently hidden via SBsettings

    I don't want sponsored links on my phone that I paid for... if I got my phone for free and could pay to not see them then I wouldn't have any place to complain but I don't like the directing this is taking us with ad's being inserted into native applications.
