Anyone know if the refurb 3GS still have the old (24kpwn-vulnerable) bootrom? This could be a good way to get jailbreakable 3GSs.
-
Umm...all devices are jailbreakable. So no point in that

Pricing is not correct - 49 for 8GB 3G, 99 for 16GB 3G, 149 for 16GB 3GS, and 249 for 32GB 3GS...basically refurbished deal is 50 dollars off retail price. Still not a bad deal, but article is definitely wrong on the prices.

I ordered the 16GB 3GS yesterday for $49. The article reports it accurately. You have to be ready for upgrade pricing or a new customer.

yeah ur listed prices are definatly wrong..... i still have the 3G and as soon as i read this i instantly went to the website to order my $49 dollar black 3gs, however that is not the case.... oh well! ill stick to my 3g for now. with all negative things going on with apple/iphone im not renewing my contract until i see some changes being made. if nothing changes ill be switching over to verizon. between the shitty service, and the nazi iphone rules im not too impressed right about now.
ps- i was pretty much the biggest apple fanboy (3 ipods, 2 iphones, ipod touch, macbook pro and mac mini) but as of late, im pretty disgusted)

hey dane, i cant seem to be able to find an option to order the 16g 4gs for $50? are you positive you got the 3gs?? send me a link if possible, id like to get one
-
yeah man thats incorrect, the $49 ones are for the 3G not the 3GS

For anyone you bought an iPhone 3gs (on a new account)in this offer, did you get charged the $36 activation fee? According to the article, they weren't charging that, but I got charged the $36 activation fee.
