It opens search results in the app window, which is an improvement, but it still launches Safari for Google Apps. In that case it's easier to just make Springboard shortcuts rather than going through the Google app.

The search results seems to be quicker. Then again I havent used the in ages till today. I used to use it just to impress friends. However with the improvments I might start using it for its true purpose.
