New AT&T Ad Calls Itself The Nation's Fastest 3G Network
The Ad-Wars are back and this time it is fresh salvo fired by AT&T. The point of discussion this time is the 3G download speed on the two networks. While it is yet another dull attempt from Ma Bell, the commercial still addresses an issue that actually matters and where...

Excuse me, but that has been AT&T's slogan this whole friggin time! So theyre using their own slogan, big whoop.

This whole argument is one sided. When you're the king of the mountain the only way to go is down. You don't get props for staying on top. If AT&T keeps a large percentage of it's customers despite it's service or lack there of, then no one cares. The free market has spoken. On the flip side it's "news" if they loose their grip. Who has more/faster 3G is not really an argument AT&T should be fighting right now. No one else sells the Iphone and therefore can not compete. Until the Droid or some yet to be named phone becomes a power house, or AT&T looses exclusivity with Apple this whole issue is a mute point.

the best buy ads are so annoying!!

Fig is right...

Yeah, AT&T has some good points, but their campaign is too weak. A bit too casual, poor use of celebrity. Verizon's ads strike hard, with no celebrity needed.
"You don't bring a knife to a gun fight boy!". Need to hit harder AT&T.

They should spend the money on fixing their problems so their ads are true rather than running their ads. This won't happen because perception is more profitable than reality.
-
yes, very true katsuboi. AT&T has a good arsenal at their disposal but they don't know how to execute it right
-
you mean "moot" point, right?

People are stupid. Hence all advertising is aimed at the lowest common denominator.
If you are too stupid to research things yourself before you buy something, then do what the commercials tell you to do. Then jailbreak your iPhone and when you screw it up, take it to the Apple store and ask them to fix it. Moronic consumer. Die. -
budfox.... yep that's what I meant. Stupid brain....

this ad is like old internet ads.. when people started moving from their dial-up internet to broadband internet... nothing new in this ad..
