Ya it would be nice to see an 8gb 3gs at a good price cause the 3g is to slow and just getting people into iphones is the idea so might as well get the best model at the best price and you will see alot of iphones sold

I think the 16gb is a good deal! 199! Thats how much the iPod touch 8gb costs. I know the iPod touch you don't need to pay monthly, but thats still a good deal for like 74$ monthly (if you get the slightly cheap plan)

Apple is ideally expected to start selling the 8GB iPhone 3GS (or probably the 16GB iPhone 3GS) in June 2010 when they launch the next generation iPhone just like they did this year when they launched iPhone 3GS.

Makes sense--introduce new high end iPhones for the "I've gotta have it now" market and beef up the low end a bit to draw in the more practical "stragglers".
