Awesome! any button combination?

Now worth it I would rather have the volume buttons control volume ant it's a bit redundant since you can pause play with a click of the mic n skip fwd with a double click ( with the standard out of the box headphones) but I live in San diego CA n rearly ware gloves

This is not new. There is VolumeMC which allow users to use volume buttons to skip/rewind and pause/play music by pressing quickly volume up then down buttons. You don't even need to take the iPhone out of your pocket since you do not need to double tab the home button on lockscreen to bring the visual controls. Very useful with Bluetooth headsets :)

@Reguard: the controls only kick in when you double-tap the Home button to bring up the mini music controls already built into the iPhone. Without the controls showing, the volume buttons control volume. This also works if you're using headphones that don't have the controls on them.

It don't work. Gutted.

Didn't work. already installed.

It works. here's how:
Play song and lock your iPhone/iPod. When display is blacked out, it works like volume. Double click home button to bring up iPod menu. Now since gloves won't work on capacitive screen, change tracks using Volume UP and Volume DOWN. To switch to volume mode, click power button to black out display again and its volume buttons. Works nice once u get the hang of it. -
Did that. Doesn't work

Installed it for a third time and resprung several times and now it is working. Maybe I just had bad luck the first 2 times. :)

I just finished this mod on my motorcycle gloves, but use conductive thread (http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=9384 ) and the problem is solved.
Now, I can use my iPhone's GPS, iTunes, etc., while riding.

The GS voice control provides voice input that supports all these functions. Long hold on the home button and speak the commands, including starting the playlist to begin with. You do need a GS and a mic though.

Very good! Do you happen to have a link to a picture of your gloves mod?
