    I use Skype to keep in touch with family and friends from the USA to Australia. 3G would be great but I don't think AT&T network would be able to cope. It is very slow already. Both the teams (Apple, AT&T) need to band together to work things out. Ahhh.....one day.

    So what about if you use the jailbreak program to trick the phone into allowing VOIP? Will that work or is that now blocked by the update?
