Telefonica of Spain, has had 3G since several years (i think more than 5) and it is really really fast.
The aren't any problems with coverage, because the 3G network was built before the mass-growth of mobile internet.
Today, we have 7.2 3G in almost every part of the country.
Apple is very proud of Telefonica (which also owns O2). -

Even though ATT has one if not/ the fastest 3g network, most of the consumers out there only surf a few webpages and check their email, plus most of the apps (other than video streaming apps) use little amount of data (dont get me wrong i dont know every app in the world im just saying from what i and my clients use!!!!!!) id much rather save myself 20 to 30 dollars a month and have unlimited calling, txt, and web.. in exchange for lower speed (t-mobile)!!!!
to me, unless ATT comes up with a new unlimited plan to allow me to save money, i will definetly be switching to t-mobile....yes there will be service quality sacrifice involved, but for the money i get to save and the unlimited calling, i cant complain!!!
And also for the record, i have a 3gs and im quite happy with it, but if the new iphone doesnt have the one thing i want which is a minimum 4 inch screen and ichat camera on the front, i definetly wont be waiting in line for it!!!
PS. it's like most people say!!!you cant have the pie and eat it too!!!!

The hell with Verizon and At&t. I will take great service over data super speed any day! T-mobile 3G for me.
