i dont like it should be a bit taller and wider and OLED and a front facing camera would be nice

They wouldn't stretch the screen just a fourth of an inch because the apps now wouldn't fit and for all 140,000 apps to convert of stretching the apps (like the iPad wouldn't be worth it (to the developers as well as apple).

The scree size looks the same to me... but even if it is a little bit longer maybe it is that way to make the iphone and ipad screens the same height/width ratio?

personally, I like the current design and don't feel the need for it to be bigger. It's perfectly functional as it is, so don't try to exaggerate the design like the iPad did or the new computer facebook.

You are right, the screen size is the same but as you can see the front face is slightly taller.

Perhaps Apple are going to make the new iPhone more like the iPad where the glass goes pretty close to the edge of the body. If that ends up being the case then the overall body would end up being close to the same height as the 3GS. It would be a little narrower as well.

Its improved technology so therefore better than a 3GS and all other phones before it.

The screens are both the EXACT SAME SIZE!!!! Look closely. You can see there is an equivelant 1/4 inch difference on the bottom, same direction as the top.
THEREFORE, the screens are the SAME size. The BODY of the housing is longer...not the screen size. DUH!!!!! :)

You are right, the screen size is the same but as you can see the front face is slightly taller, which suggests that the new iPhone could come with a slightly taller form factor.
We're not talking about the screen size, which we doubt Apple will change that to avoid rework on the iPhone apps.

I don't trust these photos and I don't think they wanna make it taller if they wanna keep the same screen size I really doubt these pictures and I hope there will be a new design and a front facing camera of course. But not a taller iPhone!

Personally I think a front facing camera for those that just have to show off their mug will be a huge hit.
I am more concerned that you have to be so precise at placing the speaker over your ear to hear it. Would prefer a more flexible/comfortable way to use it as a phone and not have to fire up my Bluetooth or plug in my headset.

I hope Apple is taking notes from Google, because the Nexus One is a Beast and i dont miss my 3gs a bit. hmmmm just make the ipod only.

how often we use the front camera??? once in a blue moon to me... but extra room for batt. would be nice... and a led light for the camera will be perfect, xenon flash even better...
