Don't get me wrong, I really do like this mod, But, I like my White case that little bit more.
This guy could make some serious cash if he released that case as a 'Limited Production Run' of say 150 units
if it's a full cad machine, he could go as far as milling customers name too. -

Legally he can't sell these. It has the apple logo on it. He would have to get apple's approval to use their logo. And for the record, you don't use a CAD program to measure anything. You use CAD to draw. A CMM does the measurement and imports the points into a CAD/CAM software such as MasterCam.

That different silent/vibrate switch is odd. Can anyone verify that the European iPhones have or don't have the same switch design as the U.S. models? It seems very odd that he would have designed his own switch. Something's not as it seems here.

Uk iPhone 3Gs 16Gb O2, Usual flip switch, front, sound on, back sound off. Same as my old 3G
Don't think there's a difference of any regional release, even software is standard throughout carriers. Orange usually brand their handsets, but Uk Orange is same as rest. -

people who have been using phone with metallic casings like nokia 8800 would know how good it feels to hold and operate a metalic phone.If you can't sell the casing, u can sure sell your software....
