    What nonsense that they have lost "thousands" due to being unavailable for sale?

    That presumes a "rate of sales", which is an artificial analytical construct, rather than a "size of prospective customer base", which is the reality Anyone who couldn't buy it last week will buy it this week. No lost sale, just deferred.
