    If it amounts to lessening the crap that's available on the Appstore then it's a good move.
    But......
    .....This move will dissuade potential developers from approaching the platform confidently, so it's a win/lose situation for us, the end user.

    Is this new policing method a way of making the Appstore appear more professional looking?? More attractive to new purchasers of their upcoming iPad?? Are they 'mucking out' the useless, pointless & just shite wave of (cr)apps that we have to wade through to find something we want??

    Whatever or whichever, it's a good move with a sad side effect
