I am one who lamentably upgraded to 3.1.3 so am not jailbroke anymore. But with my iphone running standard OS i can leave my battery for 2 days without charging. My record is 2 1/2 days. Even so the jailbreak is something i miss and will do as soon as i can. I am on Wifi networks a lot too so i guess that could contribute to better battery life.

Well that you can have now also..if u have a jailbroken Iphone, then there is a application called Categories which lets apps to be put in a folder.

Give up the rant. Buy one (or two) of the battery cases. I use two mophie juice air's and can go all day (until bedtime) on a single case. With two cases I get about 14 hours while playing games, reading ebooks, web surfing, checking email and phone use. The only time a case is not in use is when the phone is in a suit coat pocket.
