Im on the fence with ipad, i like the idea of taking it on trips BUT... I have alot of avi's on my server and i do not want to convert before syncing, i would like to know if you can transfer files to it manually like an ipod classic and lastly an avi/xvid player that can play these transferred files, streaming is fine in the house as well as using sling but my personal collection of movies is a huge deal for me, keep me posted guys

How am I supposed to use my Ipad? I have to connect it to Itunes and it must be Itunes 9.1. Didnt you all say that if I updated, my jailbroken Iphone would no longer sync?
