America isn't the only place in the world with iPhone... And, time does vary all around the world... The guy's probably got an unlocked (factory) seeing as he's a developer he's probably got the funds to fork out to apple and have an unlocked iPhone. Good question though as that was the first thing I was wondering lol.

Well I had posted on something else that I have a friend who works for tmobile, and he has a friend who is up at tmobile headquarters getting trained on the iphone stuff. This might be an unlocked phone or who knows. All I'm asking is has anyone else heard what I heard from my friend. We have all heard the stuff about verison, why not tmobile, it would be a very easy thing to do.

I read that 3G won't be able to multitask which is ok since i'm on jailbreak anyway. However, what else wouldn't we 3G users get from 4.0? Any insights?

Nuh, I guess apple have nothing new, OS 4.0 can be new for ipad except for jailbroken iPhone users, since the cydia apps were literally free for everyone , no hassless; no subscription required , it is darn awesome! isn't it? The engineers gotta do bigger jump to the best apps that can be way better than the ones on jailbroken iPhones .
In addition, I have been using multi task functions on my iPhone 2g such as running pandora (free Internet radio) browsing Internet and downloading, only three and I can still run cycorder as a stealth video camera.

anyone else notice the reminder.app notification in the statusbar? or the percentage on the battery? he's clearly jailbroken... possibly jailbroken on 4.0

look at the left of ur keyboard....now look at the center key in the last column...hit the one that says "CAPS LOCK" and if that does do it, check if u shift key(s) are stuck or something. Geez it seems like ur yelling

you can get the percentage on the battery on the 3GS with no JB.

Yeah, the battery percentage can be turned on in the "usage" area of the settings app..
Also that's not really a status notification, it's just saying that he has an alarm set. I don't know if iPhone 2G or 3G does it but my iPhone 3GS does it out of the box without the jailbreak.

Yeah the dock is reflective as well as openmaps app and a live weather app. 23 degrees isn't the standard.
