Late last week, popular iPhone jailbreaking expert Geohot released the first pictures of an iPad running in verbose mode to demonstrate that the recently launched tablet device from Apple was jailbroken. While the photos no doubt confirmed that the iPad was jailbroken, Geohot is yet to release the jailbreaking tools....

So let's get a software engineer creating an os to run on their other than iPhone. Obviosly Linux is the greatest candidate. But maybe an OS that supports flash? Hmmm? I think this opens the ipad to some potential, including running future windows based slate OSs on it, if that's what the user really wishes to do.

Can Win95 run flash? If so sign me up! I don't mind waiting for it to boot up. Though that would probably be the most useful thing I'd find for it, IF it could even do that of course. Cool either way, can't wait for OS 4

It would have to be a small version of mac os x, so probably not goin to happen. Look at how sluggish win95 ran. The only reason I said Linux is a great candidate is because there are versions that can run on virtually nothing and would run smoothly on the ipad.
But can't we just accept the ipad for what it IS? an ereader that can access the web, play games, music, and video, and anything else u can find an app for...for it's price, that seems good enough to me.

It has to be real I was able to run windows 98 on my old htc wizard running windows mobile 5.0 , using an emulator program just like he did, even the OS was so freaking slow and useless
