Redwood City isn't in San Jose. If you wanted to group it to a larger are either say SF Peninsula or SF Bay Area. Not trying to be a jerk but I live there.

Funny because it's true it's d4mn true! :-)

lol thats hilarious

I lived there too (SF). If you're not in SF, then you're "South Bay" or "Oakland". Redwood City, San Jose, Mountain View, Palo Alto; all the same, just different exits on 101.
(I moved to Sydney because I needed better espresso and wanted to leave the sad shambles of Bush's America behind.)

I didn't say SF, I said SF Peninsula, adding the "SF" to qualify it for people out of the area. Most people would say the regions are South Bay, East Bay, North Bay, the Peninsula or SF (or just "the city") for the city itself. With Palo Alto being the Southern most part of the Peninsula and Mountain View being the Northern most part of South Bay. Now that I think of it, I think those are even the region names that craigslist uses.
And of course most people just Say "Bay Area" to signify the larger region.
Just trying to be informative for out of towners. Good luck Aussie land and don't let the dingos steal you baby.
