Thatd be cool, not a killer feature in my opinion, as 640x480 can be REALLY nice looking, just the iphone videos taken in that res suck. its not all res, 1920x1080 used to be better before they started making cheaper HD cameras that had worse quality overall, what matters more is color and lighting stuff, not necessarily just resolution.

Thats great just anothe reason not to buy a Digital Camera this yeae. I just hope the price still set at a low n reachable for people and not a $800 phone. Am glad am getting my upgrade in June 7!!!

Well, I'll still be buying a Lumix GH1 ... but it's always nice to have a semi-decent camera on hand on a phone.

Wow The tide is in and now its a complete vs match. HTC Evo n iPhone HD. Both running at 1ghz CPU speed. Both recording in 720p HD. Both have front cameras. Android os vs Iphones os. Sprint vs AT&T. 1 feature still unknown with both phones is if there will be video call's. Evo can stream video front front camera but not much about it. Both with a LED flash. Evo only has 2 features over on the iPhone HD n that's HDMI out n 4g network service. Evo also has a bigger screen. it's deff a big improvement from my girls 3g iPhone n the HD. Showing Evos feature sure had a impack on the new iPhone HD.

who knows with apple. I only pay $92 for my sprint plan and that's 450 anytime mins, Free unlimited sprint mobile to any mobile any carrier, unlimited text and data, picture mail, and that also includes all the extra fees you normaly pay for with $7 repair/replacement plan. FYI, I barely use about 30 mins out of my 450 mins cuz I talk to people on there cell's. Cover is great n still get clear calls n fast Internet while still having 1 bar on my gay ass samsung instinct m800. So that's just my details about my sprint plan n how great I think there service is.

Who cares about an HD video or 1000 mega pixel camera. I want to have Ability 2 customize the look and feel. yes it's jailbroken & I use all the good apps. But if Ur going to say it's better than everything else it should do more than everyone else. Less running around to change settings. Decent front camera. Hell If u want HD camera y not ruggidize it enuf so dropping it once at won't break it.
APL Luvs boxing it up so we can't play with it. Ok. Make it so it can never be broken into. Seal it so it won't turn into paper weight bcuz I sweat too much while running. it may do 1280x720 res recording but it still might be a rubbish picture.annoys me all this 5,6,7mp rubbish, bigger res doesnt make the picture much better. good contrast, brightness etc makes the picture better.
ive seen 3mp cameras look 10times better than a 8mp camera.
resolution isnt everything.apples 3mp cam in the 3GS is piss poor even for a 3mp camera, so i wouldnt get my hopes up about apples new 5mp (1280x720) camera.
