Steve Jobs: Printing Support For iPad "Will Come"
If you have been using your iPad to work on documents, you may have realized that it is not possible to print documents directly from Apple's latest creation. The only option iPad users have is to send their documents to a computer either via email or using iPad's file sharing...

well printing would be nice indeed but not so useful for iphone .... actually it would be nice to print your picts on the go ! :D
-
so whats steves email address?
-
i think hes vey rude to reply to a email with one or two, very few words like soon, it will come and ok
-
What about the many apps that allow you to print from your iphone, can't the ipad use these or is there a hardware difference that will not allow it?
-
Those rely on a print server set up with your pc/mac, so it doesn't help much. all those app's do is connect to you computer which is pre configured to print.
We want to connect a USB printer to the camera connection kit, or even connect to a wifi printer : )

At least he replies, ass

Yet another reason why this is a glorified luxury "TOY". Mr. Jobs sure knocked on about netbooks but, sorry Stevie.... you can be more productive with a Netbook.

@jdb go fuk ur self iphone nerd
-
Like every thing Steve Job does Half-A$$, if your say that the ipad will take over the netbooks why not add support to one of the simplest features ?
-
When we are talking about ipad we are really talking about a ...thing...which is not a laptop...
We really need to wake up here. -
It's amazing that there's over a million mindless robots out there that bought this thing. HP's device is going to make this over sized iPod look like the toy that it is. Jailbroken or not.
-
People expect the ipad to provide *some* of the useful productivity features of a computer (or laptop) and direct printing support is obviously one of those core features - which seems to have been omitted for no good reason.
You fanboy. -
Can you actually do anything on this oversized piece of junk? I cant believe there is so much hype for this. Lame.
