Hi, I would like to know if anyone tested on iPhones that used the Hack to use a Cingular Prepaid SIM card. I did and don't know if will keep working after the update.

So I installed this update the day it came out and noticed something pretty interesting.
My battery used to drain by about 40% every day with light usage but listening to music for about 2 or so hours.
I took it off the charger yesterday at approx 5pm and my battery has only drained about 10-15% as of right now. I was using wifi last night for about 1 or so hours and about another 45 minutes of music. The usage last night, considering the wifi usage, was above average for me which is why I'm so surprised of the negligible drain on the battery.
This may or may not be due to the update (apparently, the fixes have nothing to do with the battery), but it's a welcome change nonetheless!
Anyone else having similar outcomes?
Thanks!

Hey Antonio,
Many of the iPhone users who had used some of the iPhone hacks have reported that the update does not get initiated in the first place and to solve this one has to restore the iPhone using iTunes to get the update which means it will wipe out all the iPhone hacks resulting in you having to carry out the procedure again.
Though it has been confirmed that hacks like iFuntastic v2 etc will work even with the latest update.
Hope this helps. Thanks for visiting iPhoneHacks.com and please do visit again.

Hey Arthur,
That's an interesting observation, Apple has admitted that the battery issue is a UI issue which can be fixed easily with a firmware update, so it is definitely possible.
However, the problem that Apple had admitted to was slightly different, the battery icon problem was that it wasnt showing 100% even if the battery was fully charged. I am not sure if this could also be the reason why you were noticing your iPhone battery drain out so soon and whether the two issues are linked.
Though Apple hasn't mentioned in their update notes that they have fixed the battery icon problem there have been reports of iPhone users now seeing this issue fixed after the latest update.
Thanks for sharing this on iPhone Hacks.
