will the cydia apps work ok with iOS4?
EG. will backgrounder work ok with iOS4, since most apps wont have native multitasking support, i would still like to use backgrounder. -

sounds pretty amazing. Question: Can i update my 3gs (new bootrom) to iOS4 and use the unlock/jailbreak devteam will provide later or should i stay with 3.1.3 and wait until the unlock/jailbreak is released? My phone is not jailbroken or unlocked at all right now. Thanks guys and thank you very much devteam to put all this time and work into the unlocks and jailbreaks!!!

hold the home and top button until you see the usb and itunes symbol then use itunes to restore your iphone,i had the same proplem but this fixed it.

as 99% of iphone customers will have either a long long contract with their operators or bought unlocked in the first instance i dont think there is really a need for unlock here just give us the jailbreak PPPLEEAASSSSSSSEE

Hey all you 3GS guys out there! There is a jailbreak and unlock for 4.0 if your phone was all ready jailbroke on 3.1.2-3.1.3 - old and new bootrom - just do a google search. I have a old bootrom MC model and it's jailbroken and unlocked on ios4 with a 4.26.08 baseband so I know there is a jailbreak and unlock - the only thing is that there isn't very many updated cydia apps yet but they are working on it. I'm gonna get a iPhone 4 here soon just waiting on the jailbreak to come out for it! :)

ayy any of you guys know how can i use the 3g function at my 3gs phone you know i jailbreak and unlock my phone at 3.1.3 firmware but you have to turn off the 3g function from settings in order to use the phone so any of you guys have a clue when can i use the 3g network service with t-mobile on my 3gs iphone
