It take a bit long but the results are 100%.
Go back to 3.1.3 Jailbreak it and then use the method to patch and pwnd your iphone.
It work for me, I am on 4.0 Jailbreak (3GS with new bootroom + MC model)

I'm on 3.1.2 new bootrom with tethered JB... Wouldn't mind this coming out. SHSH blobs are saved.
But we have to wait and see, if there ever will be untehtered JB for new bootrom? :)

Spirit Jailbreak allowed you to jailbreak iPhone 3.1.3 or iPhone 3.1.2 without tethering.

But atleast I'm not in hurry to get iOS4. Will stay on 3.1.2 with Blackra1n as long as it's needed... Heh.

I agree with you! I've been bored with my iPhone 4 and I'm waiting to have all of my custom features that I had on my 3g. I keep seeing post about jailbreaking the 3g and 3gs....where's the 4?

I can't get snowbreeze to work for my 3GS old bottom I followed the instructions to the T created a custom 4.0 Ipsw file but when restoring iTunes ends in error 1600 about 2 min into it. Tried with iTunes 9.2 then downgraded to 9.1 same results. Seems like others have the same issue with no solution. My only solution was to upgrade to 4.0 stock. Looks like I'm out of luck now correct? This wouldn't update bottom wouldn't?

dont have 3.1.2 shsh. on 3.1.3 with comexjb.am surprise the is no way for cydia people to release a custom 4.0 onto cydia to install straight over 3.1.3jb OS

I completely agree with you. I jailbroke my 3GS with Spirit. It got updated to 4.0, and now I can't jailbreak using any of the tools out there because I used Spirit to jailbreak.

They may never release one. Remember they do this for free... People crying whining and griping at them like you and D3@th sure wont motivate them to work on this any faster. If you really want it that bad, you can learn to code yourself and write one. Beggers can't be choosers.

3GS, old bootrom & was previously j/b with Spirit. Tried Snowbreeze & got 1604 error. None of the guides show a solution for that, had to upg to iOS4 because was stuck in recovery & couldn't get out of it with any of the guides i found online. forecast shows that I still have old bootrom but not sure how reliable that is. Would really like to jb/unlock this damn thing so that i can sell it & go to the iPhone 4 already. The profit is in the jb/unlock, anyone out there with a solution for this?

Try downloading the Crispy Tech cooked IPSW. I couldn't get sn0wbreeze to work on my 3GS but didn't have any problems installing this. use google to find it.

It's not that you can't jailbreak because you used Spirit. It's because you updated to 4.0 - there's simply no jailbreak that works on a 3GS that is already on 4.0

i know how you feel man, its like the phone`s naked without the jailbreak. dev team need to stop focusing on new hacks and finish off bringing us the jailbreak for all devices.

I'm running windows 7. just put on itunes 9.2.0.61 how do i downgrade to itunes 9.1 to be able to app sync my cracked ipa's into itunes. When i had itunes 9.1 it showed in there now in 9.2 it won't let me add them. I'm still on 3.1.3 5.12.1 JB wanting to go up to 4.0 and JB after that. Any Help would be great.
